grandmother not pictured

An implied 3-generation portrait: my wife was talking to her mother on a cell phone when our son came for a good night hug. I rather detest cell phones -- all phones really -- but was struck by the love in this odd little scene.

What a great image. It could be on a gallery wall or in an advertisement, depending how you look at it. I like it with the phone because it's different. Beautiful, rich looking black and white and excellent tight framing.

This is wonderful! I like it with the phone (no matter how one feels about them) - it captures an honest moment and the expressions are great. You can almost see your son trying to overhear the conversation.
